Magnificent Legacy Capital

Brett Sleyster is the Founder and Managing Principal of Magnificent Legacy Capital.

Prior to founding Magnificent Legacy Capital, Brett was a venture capital investor at PruVen Capital, where he supported a number of transactions including the firm’s investments in Pismo, a Brazilian core banking startup, and an investment in Newfront Insurance, a technology-enabled insurance brokerage.

He spent several years as an investment banker at Credit Agricole, where he worked with industry-leading companies in the agribusiness, construction, and fintech sectors. In that role, Brett helped manage relationships representing billions in credit exposure across six continents and many countries.

Additionally, Brett has completed internships at People First Capital and Perpetual Motion Capital, traditional search funds, to prepare for his own search.

Brett holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, where he graduated with distinction, a BS in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University, and is a CFA charterholder.
