South Mountain Partners

Nick was born in New Jersey to a Polish-American family. His grandparents were entrepreneurs that moved around New York state to buy properties and fix them up after escaping war-torn Poland. As a bookish kid, he joined the Boy Scouts and football team to get out of the house, eventually becoming an Eagle Scout and a benchwarmer.

After a few years of working in a large, corporate environment at Oracle, he realized that he wanted to make my impact through entrepreneurship, and got his MBA at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management to further develop his skillset.

Outside of work, Nick loves the outdoors and is always on the lookout for new hikes or mountains to snowboard.  He is a published author, and is still an avid reader. He is searching for one great business and Chicago's best pierogi.
