Ryan brings over 15 years of experience in sales, operations, and leadership, having grown small, medium and large businesses across multiple sectors. He is a people-oriented leader that loves to coach, build teams, and drive results. He has a bias for action and promotes culture grounded in direct feedback, candid conversations and collaboration. Prior to founding Sligo Capital, Ryan held executive leadership roles at Ygrene Energy Fund and WeWork after spending much of his earlier career at CBRE, HSBC, UBS, and an e-commerce business he founded called The Swatch Box.

He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Ryan lives with his wife Beth and three boys Grady, Harlan and Walker in the Chicago area.
