Steve Shamanski is from Carberry, Manitoba, a small farm town in Western Canada. His entrepreneurial spirit comes from working on the family farm, and seeing the impact other small businesses had on his community.

He graduated from Providence College with a B.S. in Accounting before earning an MBA from the University of Michigan - Ross School of Business in 2022. Steve honed his expertise in financial strategy and deal-making during his time in PwC's FDD group, corporate development at Windriver Environmental, and J.P. Morgan's Consumer & Retail Investment Banking group.

Prior to starting his professional career Steve played professional hockey for the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins following four years on the Providence College Division 1 hockey team. When he's not getting out on the ice for a men's league game, he likes to remain active golfing, playing tennis, or training for the next marathon.
